About This Expeirence

Taking a canoe down the River of Golden Dreams is a summertime classic. Our guides will teach you basic paddling skills and techniques as you begin your adventure paddling across the historic Alta Lake. Following families of ducks and geese into the lush river mouth you’ll paddle through flowing lilies and around bends of overhanging greenery as you learn about Whistler’s history, flora and fauna. Great opportunity for guests to see Whistler's preserved nature on its little development riverbanks.

Cancellation Policy

Free change and cancellation can be made 48 hours in advance before the trip starts; Cancellation within 48 hours will be charged 100% of your payment
Any supplier change fees will be passed on to the client
Should you need to cancel your trip, you must notify us in writing by letter, e-mail, or by fax immediately.
For any reason that you need to cancel or modify your orders, the bank wire transfer fee and credit card fee will be deducted at the same time of your refund
Cancellations and refunds are processed within 1-7 business days

Additional Info

All guests are required to sign a Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity agreement before participating in canoe/kayak activities.
Children must be 6+ years old and able to swim
Provide complimentary communal drybags to use while on tour to protect valuable items.
Check-in Time: 30 minutes before your tour departure time.
Masks are mandatory inside all buildings and vehicles.
Wear appropriate clothing for the weather conditions. Activewear and waterproof layers such as a shell jacket and pant in the event of inclement weather.
Footwear you don't mind getting wet. You will be in and out of the water.
A waterproof camera or phone to take photos and share moments.
Sunhat, sun cream and insect repellant. Water and a snack.
Please book at least 3 days in advance.
Opening and closing dates are subject to supplier change.
Please provide accurate and complete information (Name, gender, adult / child, copy of passport and contact information) when booking a tour to avoid errors that would affect your travel. If you cause a delay or cause losses due to missing or inaccurate information, you will be held responsible.
It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel insurance for your personal benefit.
