About This Expeirence

This journey takes us through 45 kilometers of the most spectacular scenery anywhere in the Canadian Rockies. The Maligne Valley is home to a wide range of flora and fauna, and it has geological features unique in the world. A 30-minute stop at Maligne Canyon, As we continue into the Valley, we climb into Medicine Lake. This mysterious disappearing lake changes seasonally as the flow rates of meltwaters fill and empty this basin. From Medicine Lake, we continue up through a forest that is prime habitat for moose and bears. At world-famous Maligne Lake, you embark on a boat tour to Spirit Island, showcasing the blue-green glacial water of Maligne Lake. This 90-minute journey stops at Spirit Island to allow for a walk to the famous photo view point.

Cancellation Policy

Free change and cancellation can be made 72 hours in advance before the trip starts; Cancellation within 72 hours will be charged 100% of your payment
Any supplier change fees will be passed on to the client
Should you need to cancel your trip, you must notify us in writing by letter, e-mail, or by fax immediately.
For any reason that you need to cancel or modify your orders, the bank wire transfer fee and credit card fee will be deducted at the same time of your refund
Cancellations and refunds are processed within 1-7 business days

These tours are typically geared more towards adults, providing educational commentary along the way; however, you are welcome to bring babies with you if you wish. Children 0-4 years old are free but must be mentioned when making the booking.
In the summer season, elk, deer, bighorn sheep, bears, and bald eagles are the most common animals to be sighted.
We use air-conditioned, RV-style buses with large windows. These buses hold a maximum of 24 passengers.
Complimentary pick-up is available from selected accommodations within the Jasper Area.
We recommend bringing a small bottle of water.
A short break for lunch at Maligne Lake. There may be the chance to purchase lunch at the Maligne Lakehous.
Please book at least 3 days in advance.
Opening and closing dates are subject to supplier change.
