Morning 

Depart from Calgary or Banff and travel west into the Rockies. Pass by Castle Mountain, one of Banff National Park’s most iconic peaks, rising dramatically along the Trans-Canada Highway. 

Arrive at Marble Canyon (45 min), where turquoise waters carve through limestone cliffs and narrow gorges, creating a striking contrast between rock and river. 

Midday 

Visit the world-renowned Lake Louise (75 min), where vivid turquoise waters rest beneath the towering Victoria Glacier. The elegant Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise stands along the shoreline, adding to the alpine grandeur. 

Continue to stunning Moraine Lake (75 min), framed by the dramatic Ten Peaks and famous for its brilliant blue colour during the summer season. 

Afternoon 

Enter Yoho National Park and stop at serene Emerald Lake (20 min), known for its jade-colored waters surrounded by forest and mountain peaks. 

Visit Natural Bridge (15 min), where the powerful Kicking Horse River has carved a unique rock formation over centuries. 

Evening 

Return to Banff, concluding a full day immersed in the breathtaking landscapes of the Canadian Rockies. 

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

Banff – Crowfoot Glacier – Peyto Lake (30 min) – Icefields Parkway – Lunch at The Crossing (optional, 45 min) – Columbia Icefield Snowcoach & Skywalk (optional, 150 min) – Athabasca Falls (30 min) – Jasper (overnight) 

Morning 

Depart from your Banff hotel and set out on a spectacular journey through the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Travel north along the legendary Icefields Parkway, with an early scenic stop at Crowfoot Glacier, where ancient ice clings dramatically to the mountainside. 

Continue to Peyto Lake for a 30-minute visit. Famous for its maple-leaf shape, the lake’s vivid turquoise waters wind through a sweeping alpine valley—one of the most photographed views in the Rockies. 

If Peyto Lake is inaccessible due to maintenance or other uncontrollable factors, the visit will be replaced with Waterfowl Lake. 

Midday 

Arrive at The Crossing for lunch (at your own expense). Guests may choose an optional self-serve buffet before continuing deeper into the mountains. 

The journey unfolds along the Icefields Parkway, consistently ranked among the world’s most beautiful drives, with glaciers, waterfalls, and jagged peaks lining the route. 

Afternoon 

Reach the Columbia Icefield, where optional experiences bring you face-to-face with one of North America’s largest icefields. Board the Snowcoach Ice Explorer (optional) to drive directly onto the ancient Athabasca Glacier, standing atop ice formed over millions of years. 

You may also choose to experience the Columbia Icefield Skywalk—a glass-floored platform suspended 280 metres above the Sunwapta Valley, offering a breathtaking perspective straight down into the glacier-carved landscape. 

Continue north to Athabasca Falls, where powerful, glacier-fed waters plunge through sculpted limestone canyons. 

Evening 

Arrive in Jasper and check into your hotel for an overnight stay, surrounded by the serene beauty of Jasper National Park.

Jasper – Medicine Lake (15 min) – Maligne Lake Cruise & Lunch (optional, 135 min) – Maligne Canyon (30 min) – Icefields Parkway – Bow Lake (20 min) – Banff/ Calgary  

Morning 

Depart from your hotel in Jasper and begin your journey south through the Canadian Rockies. Travel along a scenic mountain route to Medicine Lake, known for its mysterious disappearing waters and tranquil alpine surroundings. Pause for a short photo stop to take in the stillness of this unique glacial lake. 

Midday 

Continue to Maligne Lake, the world’s second-largest glacier-fed lake. Guests may choose to join the optional Maligne Lake Cruise (seasonal, approx. 90 minutes), sailing across the 22-kilometre-long lake toward the iconic Spirit Island—often described as one of the most photographed locations in the Canadian Rockies. 

Following the cruise, enjoy optional lunch at Maligne Lake (approx. 45 minutes), with time to relax, explore the shoreline, and capture photos of the surrounding peaks reflected in the turquoise water. 

Afternoon 

Visit Maligne Canyon, the longest and deepest canyon in the Canadian Rockies. Walk along carved pathways and bridges above powerful glacial waters that have sculpted dramatic limestone walls over thousands of years. 

If Maligne Canyon is inaccessible due to wildfire impacts or other conditions, this visit will be replaced with Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and a walk along Beauvert Lake (total approx. 30 minutes). 

Continue south along the legendary Icefields Parkway, consistently ranked among the most scenic drives in the world, with sweeping views of glaciers, alpine valleys, and rugged peaks. 

Stop briefly at The Crossing for a short rest break to stretch, use facilities, and enjoy mountain views. 

Arrive at Bow Lake for a 20-minute photo stop. This glacier-fed lake is celebrated for its wide-open vistas and striking blue waters, making it a favourite photography stop along the parkway. 

Evening 

After a day immersed in alpine grandeur, relax on the return journey to Calgary, concluding a spectacular Rocky Mountains experience.

• When the cruise is unavailable: The itinerary will be replaced with a visit to Pyramid Lake (45 minutes) and Patricia Lake (15 minutes)
