Continue to Maligne Lake, the world’s second-largest glacier-fed lake. Guests may choose to join the optional Maligne Lake Cruise (seasonal, approx. 90 minutes), sailing across the 22-kilometre-long lake toward the iconic Spirit Island—often described as one of the most photographed locations in the Canadian Rockies.
Following the cruise, enjoy optional lunch at Maligne Lake (approx. 45 minutes), with time to relax, explore the shoreline, and capture photos of the surrounding peaks reflected in the turquoise water.

Visit Maligne Canyon, the longest and deepest canyon in the Canadian Rockies. Walk along carved pathways and bridges above powerful glacial waters that have sculpted dramatic limestone walls over thousands of years.
If Maligne Canyon is inaccessible due to wildfire impacts or other conditions, this visit will be replaced with Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and a walk along Beauvert Lake (total approx. 30 minutes).

Stop briefly at The Crossing for a short rest break to stretch, use facilities, and enjoy mountain views.

Evening
After a day immersed in alpine grandeur, relax on the return journey to Calgary, concluding a spectacular Rocky Mountains experience.
