Cancellation Policy

The tour can be cancelled free of charge 24 hours before departure.

The tour fee can be cancelled or changed free of charge 24 hours before departure, but the activities, meals and other additional items involved in the tour must be cancelled or changed free of charge 72 hours or before.
Within 24 hours of departure, tour fees and activities will not be refunded.

Travel Requirements

This is a local bus tour. All travelers are responsible for aquiring their own Visas/Electronic Travel Authorization

Provide complete and accurate booking information (name, gender, passport copy, contact details). Travelers are responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect information.

Booking & Itinerary

For a smooth trip, book activity and meal packages when reserving your tour. No changes can be made within 7 days of departure.
Your itinerary may operate alongside other travelers’ similar tours.
Hotel class and ratings vary by region; North American hotels are locally rated.
Standard rooms include one large bed or two doubles. Specific bed types can be requested but are not guaranteed.
Vehicle type depends on group size:
Up to 24 passengers: driver also serves as guide
25+ passengers: separate driver and guide
Tours are conducted in English and/or Mandarin.
Westar Travel acts as a tour operator and is not liable for loss, damage, delay, or injury caused by third-party service providers.
In cases of force majeure (e.g., weather, road closures, traffic), itineraries may be adjusted or cancelled.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Westar Travel is not responsible for transportation delays, weather, or other uncontrollable events.

Travel Notice

For airport transfers, provide accurate flight details and arrive early at the meeting point. Extra transfers due to inaccurate information may incur additional fees.
Hotels may require a credit card for incidental deposits (phone, laundry, meals).

Please be punctual for all pick-ups. Missed departures are at your own expense.
Multiple vehicles or guides may serve your group.

Guests leaving the group early must complete a Liability Release Form.
No refunds for missed activities due to weather, traffic, or personal circumstances.
Special requests (bed type, dietary needs, high chairs, etc.) must be made at least 7 days prior; subject to availability.

Traveler Tips

Temperature: Expect large day-night differences (25°C daytime / 15–18°C night). Dress in layers.
Sun & Air: UV is strong; use sunscreen. The climate is dry — bring moisturizer.
Wildlife: Do not feed or approach animals. Stay in your vehicle near large wildlife.
Hotel Smoking: Strictly prohibited; violations may incur a $300+ CAD fine.
National Parks: Smoke only in designated areas; extinguish cigarette butts fully.
Hotel Facilities: Many lodges are 3–4 stories and may lack elevators.
Amenities: Eco-friendly hotels may not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers, or combs. Basic toiletries only.
Hot Water: Kettles are not standard; request hot water at the front desk or use the coffee maker as directed.
Attractions: Boiling water not available at most sites — plan ahead.
Electricity: Canada uses 110V, three-prong plugs (two flat, one round).

Tips:

In the Rockies, there can be large temperature differences between morning and evening. The average daytime temperature in summer is 25 °C, and the average night temperature is 15-18 ° C. Please prepare clothes appropriately.
In the Rockies, there’s ample sunshine and usually high levels of Ultraviolet rays (UV rays) that may cause sunburn, so proper sun protection will be needed. The region has a dry climate and body lotion is one of the must-haves when traveling.
When encountering wild animals, feeding is prohibited; In the case of large animals, do not leave the vehicle and approach.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in hotel rooms and throughout the hotel. Violation of the rules will result in a fine of $300 CAD or more.
Within the national parks, please note smoking is permitted in certain areas only. Please follow the rules and do not litter cigarette butts. Please make sure that they’re fully out in case of a fire hazard.
Please note that hotels in the Rocky Mountains area are mostly 3-4 story wooden structures. Some hotels do not have elevators.
For environmental protection, Rocky Mountains area hotels are not provided with toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers, comb; Only shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided.
Most hotel rooms are not equipped with kettles. If you need hot water for drinking, please ask the hotel’s front desk for assistance. If no kettle can be provided, please use the coffee machine properly as instructed.
There is no “hot (boiling)” drinking water at the attractions, if necessary, please prepare it yourself before departure.
Canadian voltage power is 110V, and the electrical socket is a three-pin plug: the upper one is round, and the lower two are flat and parallel.
