At the end of 2009, it hosted the World Ski Competition in the early stages of the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
Lake Louise Ski Resort has the loosest and softest fine powder snow in the world, with an average annual snowfall of 454 centimeters.
The resort provides a total of 18 square kilometers of ski terrain on four unique slopes, with a peak height of 2,672 meters and a rappel distance of 1,000 meters. There are more than 100 ski trails, the longest ski trail is 8 kilometers long.
